The Institute of Applied Information Processing and Communications at TU Graz has an open position, available from 1st January 2021 for an initial fixed-term of 3 years for a

Project Assistant / PhD Position (m/f/d) in the field of IT Security and eGovernment
40h/week, part-time up to 20h/week for students possible

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Participation in and development of the institute‘s research operations
  • Research and further development of national security technologies
  • Participation in national and EU research projects
  • Own research (dissertation)
  • Opportunity for support in teaching and examinations

Admission requirements:

  • Completed Bachelor’s, Master's or diploma studies in computer science, information and computer engineering, software development-economy, mathematics and comparable studies

Wanted Qualifications:

  • Good knowledge of English
  • The ability to work in an international environment
  • Education or experience in the field of information security with a focus on one of the areas of eGovernment, mobile security, applied IT security, electronic signatures and electronic identity, web services, or directory services and portals

The monthly minimum remuneration for this use is currently € 3.048 (with Bachelor degree) or € 3.565 (with Masters degree) gross (full-times basis, 14 times per year, including social and health insurance).
